Eligibility Criteria for University Admissions

Specific conditions must be fulfilled in order to get admission in a university. Online BS admissions are also available in the majority of the universities. This helps the students to stay in touch with the updates on BS Admissions. Every university provides multiple numbers of programs to study which have different levels of eligibility criteria as well.
The two basic degrees provided by each university are bachelor’s degrees and master’s degrees. Following is the common eligibility criteria set by each university:
  • Eligibility criteria for Bachelor’s Programs:
Age Limit: Usually age should not be more than 24 years.
Percentage: at least 50% marks are required in private sectors while in government sectors, candidates holding 60% marks are eligible for Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering and 50% marks for arts programs.


Education: Candidates must have at least 12 years of education. Some degrees require you to have a higher level of education in a certain subject For example: In order to get admission in the Pre-Medical program, you should have studied the subject of Biology during your intermediate program. And there are also some programs that do not have such obligations for admission; for example: If you want to get admission to a fine arts program, you can be a pre-medical or pre-engineer student and will still be able to get admission in Bachelor’s of Fine Arts.
  • Eligibility criteria for Master’s Programs:
Age Limit: Usually age should not be more than 26 years.
Education: Candidates must have 14 years of educational qualification to apply for a master’s program.
Percentage: candidates having below 60% are not eligible to apply.

Therefore, he or she must make sure that they are eligible for the course or program they wish to apply for.
